Under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data obtained during your job and internship applications is processed by Had Metal Sanayi & Ticaret, as data controller, for the purposes explained below.

2. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Receiving and evaluating job and internship applications,
• Comparing the candidate’s knowledge, experience and competencies with the requirements of the position applied for,
• Carrying out recruitment and intern admission processes,
• Communicating with candidates about the application process,
• Planning interviews and evaluation processes,
• Keeping records of the application process,
• Fulfilling legal obligations and, where necessary, establishing, exercising or protecting rights.

Your personal data is processed in a manner that is relevant, limited and proportionate to these purposes.

3. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK that fit the specific processing activity. Where applicable to the activity concerned, these may include:

• Processing being necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment of a contract,
• The Company fulfilling its legal obligations,
• The establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• Processing being necessary for the Company’s legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

The legal ground applicable to each processing activity is determined according to the Company’s actual practices.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared, only where necessary to achieve the relevant purposes and where the conditions laid down in the legislation are met, with:

• Company managers and employees of the relevant unit authorised to evaluate the application,
• Where used, information technology and infrastructure service providers for the application processes,
• Public institutions and organisations authorised by law and legally authorised authorities.

Transfers of your personal data are carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation and only to the extent necessary. Where data is transferred abroad, the KVKK provisions on cross-border transfers apply.

5. Method of Collection

Your personal data may be collected electronically or physically through the job and internship application forms on the Had Metal website, the CV and documents you upload, email correspondence, phone calls and other communication with you during the application process.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary to evaluate your application, taking into account the obligations under the relevant legislation and the periods relating to possible legal disputes.

After the application is concluded, the retention period is determined under the Company’s personal data retention and destruction policy and the relevant legislation. When the retention period ends, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the legislation.

If your application is to be kept for consideration for positions that may open in the future, this purpose and the related legal conditions are determined separately and communicated to you.

7. Your Rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the Company you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed personal data,
• Request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in the law,
• Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
• Claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

This Candidate Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of job and internship applications. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
