At Had Metal Sanayi & Ticaret (“Had Metal”), we care about the security of the personal data of people who visit www.hadmetal.com.tr and contact us. This notice has been prepared by Had Metal as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

2. Personal Data We Process
- Identity and contact details: full name, company name, email address, phone number.
- Request details: the product, project and message content you send with quote and information requests.
- Application details: education and experience details and the CV file you share with job and internship applications. These are also processed under the Candidate Privacy Notice.
- Security data: the IP address and browser information recorded when a form is submitted.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Receiving and evaluating your quote, information and contact requests and replying to you,
- Answering your questions about our products and production, and carrying out pre-contract processes,
- Evaluating job and internship applications,
- Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse and unwanted submissions,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations.
4. Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with our legal obligations, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
5. How We Collect Data
Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact, job application and internship application forms on our website and when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
6. Transfers, Including Abroad
Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent necessary for the purposes above, with Company staff who handle your request, the business partners that provide our website and data hosting services, and public authorities authorised by law.
Data submitted through our website and forms is stored on servers hosted in data centres in Frankfurt, Germany. This transfer is carried out in accordance with the conditions of Article 9 of the KVKK. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms.
7. Retention
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and, under the legal conditions, its deletion or destruction, and that these actions be notified to third parties; to object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
